Thomas Gnausch

Thomas never wavered from his calling.  At 6, he received his first music lesson on the piano. Thomas started playing the clarinet when he attended a specialised school for music from 12 to 19 years old.   In Luebeck’s University for Music, he trained under renowned clarinettists Professor Sabine Meyer and Professor Reiner Wehle. During this time, he already started to perform in different orchestras like the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Theatre Luebeck, Komische Oper Berlin and the Deutsche Oper in Berlin

Finally, he accomplished his postgraduate degree at the prestigious University of Stuttgart with Professor Norbert Kaiser.  Shortly after, he became the Sub-principal at the Theatre Eisenach until he was offered another opportunity with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra playing the second clarinet.
