QF D’REESHA FESTIVAL 2021: Opening Performance with Fahad Al Kubaisi

The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at the opening for the Qatar Foundation D’reesha Performing Arts Festival 2021, with a special concert featuring the talented Qatari artist Fahad Al Kubaisi, as well as the Qatar Youth Choir. The event will feature music from Fahad Al Kubaisi and blockbuster Hollywood films such as, ‘The Dark Knight’, ‘E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial’, ‘Harry Potter’, and many more.

Join The Philharmonic as we look back at Liszt’s best works. The concert will feature Piano Concerto No. 1, a piece so magnificent that it took Liszt over 25 years to complete, as well as Les Préludes, the best known of Liszt’s symphonic poems. This concert is for piano enthusiasts as Liszt was considered the greatest piano virtuoso of his time. János Balázs will perform solo piano and Pablo Mielgo will conduct.
