The Qatar Philharmonic presents an enchanting musical experience featuring major works from Mozart and Beethoven. The concert will commence with Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat for Violin and Viola, a piece that is widely regarded as the grandest of Mozart’s violin concertos. The solo violin and viola parts will be performed by the Philharmonic’s own concert master, Joo Young Oh and principal viola player, Giovanni Pasini. The concert will end with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, considered the world’s most famous symphony, and widely recognised by the ominous opening four-note motif. The Philharmonic will be led by passionate German conductor Elias Grandy.
