Follow the Philharmonic into A Midsummer Night’s Dream, featuring the magical works of Mendelssohn and Schumann. The evening will begin with pieces from the score written by Mendelssohn for William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the music of which is arguably the most famous incidental music ever composed. The last symphony composed by Schumann; Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major (Rhenish) will close the concert. The Philharmonic will be led by spirited German conductor Elias Grandy.
