Kahraman Seref was born in Mersin,Turkey in 1984. He started his music
education at Mersin University State Conservatory in 1995 and then completed
his university education at Istanbul University State Conservatory and his
master’s degree at the “Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Leipzig” school
in Leipzig, Germany.
He studied at the viola classes of Binnur Yunkus, Cigdem Altas Epikmen,
Tatjana Masurenko and Guy Ben-Ziony. He was entitled to play in the Mediterranean
Youth Orchestra held in France in the summer months between 2003-2005 and took
part in the concerts of this orchestra in France, Spain and Italy.
He actively attended MasterClass courses of Rusen Gunes, Yuri Gandelsman
and Tatjana Masurenko.He has taken part in many chamber music concerts and has
continued to give regular concerts every year in a repertoire ranging from the
baroque period to the modern period.
He took part in orchestras such as Mersin Chamber Orchestra, Akbank Chamber
Orchestra,Leipzig Kammerorchester, Staatskapelle Halle, CRR Symphony Orchestra,
Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra, Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Orchestra,
Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and still continues to work in Qatar
Philharmonic Orchestra.
Born in Venice, Italy, Fulvio began his music studies at the age of 8. He graduated with honours in 1994 at the Music Conservatory Cesare Pollini of Padua where he was awarded a scholarship as top graduate of the year. In 1990, while still a student, he joined the Schweitzer Streichorchester Engelberg as Solo Concertmaster, touring extensively Italy, Switzerland and Spain in the following
7 years. This experience offered him the opportunity to produce himself as soloist in a number of occasions (Mozart A Major Concerto, Bach E Major and A minor Concerto, Lalo Symphonie Espagnole, Haydn C Major Concerto, Beethoven Triple Concerto, among others). Following an important encounter in 1997 with renown violinist and pedagogue Victor Liebermann at the Utrecht Music Conservatory (Netherlands), in 1999 he won the audition in the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano G. Verdi, appointed by Riccardo Chailly. In the same year, after the audition, he worked as Principal of the 2nd Violins section in the Orchestra Sinfonica Toscanini (Parma), where he played until 2001 when he joined Bologna’s Opera House.
In 2008 he was appointed Assistant Concertmaster of the prestigious Venice Opera House (Gran Teatro La Fenice), where he is still currently employed. All along his prolific orchestra career, Fulvio has appeared in all the main Italian theaters, as well as in the most renown international festivals (Finland – Savonlinna Opera Festival, Madrid – National Auditorium of Music, Tokyo – NHK Hall – Orchard Hall – Bunka Kaikan, Beijing – National Center for the Performing Arts, Aix En Provence Festival, and many others). He has played under the baton of some of the greatest conductors of our time, such as Muti, Chailly, Gatti, Pretre, Gardiner, Harding, Chung, Inbal, Marriner, Jurowsky, Rostropovich and many others. In October 2018 he was invited to join the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra as a Guest Principal of the 2nd Violins section.
Flóra Kovács, currently a tutti violin player in the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, possesses nearly two decades of professional experience in international settings. She has held positions in orchestras across Hungary, Qatar, and the Netherlands, both as a member and freelancer. She served as the Concertmaster for the Savaria Symphony Orchestra and the Szolnok Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she played first violin in the tutti section of the Orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera and is the founder and artistic leader of the Qatar String Chamber Orchestra, where she also serves as concertmaster. Her performances consistently demonstrate excellence across a diverse repertoire, and her professionalism is frequently praised by colleagues. Flóra exemplifies both formal and informal leadership through her dedication to maintaining the highest standards in violin performance.

Marc has studied in Barcelona and Zurich.
Over the past 15 years he has collaborate with many orchestras around
Europe, such as Komische Oper Berlin, Staatsorchester Hamburg, Spanish
National Orchestra, Zurich Kammer orchestra, Basel Kamerorchestra,
Zurich Opera house, and many others.
He also have been member of the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra
and Gustav Mahler youth orchestra.
Since 2023 is working with Qatar Philharmonic orchestra.
At the age of 4 she began studying the violin under the tutelage of her grandfather.
In the coming years she attended schools with an arts and music focus,
eventually being accepted into the prestigious Gymnasium for Music „ Sigismund Toduta“ in Cluj Napoca, an institution with a strong curriculum and tradition in musical training.
Upon graduating from gymnasium, Raluca moved to Hamburg, Germany
to continue her studies with Prof. Petru Munteanu at Hochschule für Musik und Theater. From the year 2005 she continued studying with Prof. Christoph Schickedanz, graduating in 2006.
From 2007 she was a permanent member in the Elbphilharmonie Orchestra Hamburg.
After touring extensively in Europe, USA and Asia, Raluca relocated to Qatar as a member of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
In addition to the regular orchestra performance schedule, Raluca appeared frequently in the QPO’ s chamber music and spin off projects and performances.
Rolanda Ginkute is a Lithuanian born violinist. She began her Pre-Collegue studies
at the Cologne University of Music and Dance in Germany. Few years later she
received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the Queen Sofía College of Music
in Spain under the supervision of Professor Zakhar Bron.
Rolanda has won numerous national and international music competitions and
performed in festivals and concerts in many European countries including her debuts
as a soloist in Berliner Philharmony, Cologne Philharmony, Alte Oper Frankfurt, De
Doelen in Rotterdam, Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, Auditorio Nacional
de Música and Monumental Theatre in Madrid, Kursaal Interlaken in Switzerland.
Rolanda gave her recitals in Switzerland, Germany, Spain and Lithuania, many of
them being filmed and recorded by the national radio and television of Lithuania and
Spain.
She became a laureate of Queen Martha award, was granted the scholarship of
Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation and received a diploma from Her Majesty Queen
Sofia of Spain.
As a soloist she has performed with many orchestras, including the Spanish Radio
and Television Symphony Orchestra (RTVE), Franz Schubert Filharmonia and
Chamber Orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” among others.
Her performance with Quartet “Esferas” received the AIE prize for chamber music
with a concert tour Spain wide. In 2022 she made her album recording together with
the pianist Vadim Gladkov for the National Radio of Spain.
Rolanda has been regularly invited as a concertmaster of professional orchestras.
During the season 2018-2020 she was a concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra
Adda Simfonica. Since the season 2019/2020 she was a member of the Spanish
National Orchestra (ONE). Among the most remarkable ones were her recent
collaborations as a guest concertmaster of Spanish National Orchestra, Tenerife
Symphony Orchestra, Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra among others.
Since 2014 she is a member of Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra in Switzerland.
Rolanda had a pleasure to collaborate with some of the most distinguished
conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Sir András Schiff, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Juanjo
Mena among others.
Recently, she has been appointed as the principal 2nd violin of Qatar Philharmonic
Orchestra.
Julie Sgarro was born in 1984 in Saint Mandé (France).
She started to play the Harp when she was 7 in the « Conservatoire de musique de Toulon » with Vassilia Briano. In 2001 she decided to go to Germany to further her studies in Germany with the legendary Xavier De Maistre ( solo Harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra) in the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg” and later in the Karajanakademie with Marie-Pierre Langlamet (Harpist of Berlin Philharmonic). She won prices in many harp competitions like “Martine Geliot” in Lille and “Reinl Stiftung” in Vienna. Julie Sgarro started to play in orchestras since she was 15. She played and performed with such famous orchestras as the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic and the Gewandhaus orchestra.
In 2010, she won the principal harp chair with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Tyrolean Markus Steiner has been playing as the first Percussionist at the Gärtnerplatz theater Munich since 2006. He studied in Innsbruck with Norbert Rabanser, in Vienna with Horst Berger and in Munich with Arnold Riedhammer. After his studies, Markus Steiner was an academic with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra for two years. During this time there were also several concerts on the drum set with the famous Brass Band “Blechschaden”.
Inspired by his childhood with brass band music and early experiences in the Gad Gastein salon orchestra, he discovered – holder of the Golden Youth Musician Achievement Badge – his love for operas, musicals and operettas, which corresponds exactly to the repertoire of the State Theater at Gärtnerplatz in Munich.
He also plays and has appeared as a guest with orchestras such as the NDR ElbphilharmonieOrchestra, the BR Symphony Orchestra, the Munich and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestras, the Bavarian and Nuremberg State Operas, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra. He was also a member of the Aljoscha Zimmermann Ensemble for over 20years, with whom he accompanied silent film concerts around the world. He also enjoyed passing on his knowledge to music students in various music schools and workshops. In 2024, Mr. Steiner will play with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra as a percussionist.
