Conductor Wilson Ng (newly appointed Fellow Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra), leads the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra. Violinist Esther Yoo (youngest prizewinner of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition), joins the orchestra for Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D Major, one of the most beloved works in the violin repertoire. After the interval, the programme lives up to its title with Brahms’ Piano Quartet in G Minor, radically transformed into a full orchestral work by Arnold Schoenberg. Familiar Brahms experienced in a way you’ve never heard before.
