Experience an evening of powerful Russian Romanticism with guest conductor Kamoliddin Urinbaev and pianist Fazliddin Husanov. This concert features two monumental works from the late 19th century; and opens with Rachmaninoff’s beloved “Piano Concerto No. 2”, a work renowned for its lush melodies and emotional depth. Soloist Fazliddin Husanov brings his artistry to this iconic piece, showcasing the interplay between piano and orchestra.
To close the concert, the orchestra presents Tchaikovsky’s final symphony, the “Pathétique.” This intensely personal work takes listeners on an emotional journey, from passionate heights to introspective lows, concluding with its famously somber finale.

Celebrate 15 years of incredible music-making with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra for the 15-Year-Anniversary Festival! The Philharmonic ushers in the celebration with a variety of performances that will take place in Auditorium 3 at the Qatar National Convention Centre from 18-20 of April, showcasing the breadth and diversity of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
The final concert to close Day 2 of the 15-Year-Anniversary Festival invites the audience to the Royal courts of the Renaissance era to experience works from the Baroque period of classical music. The concert will include compositions from several of Europe’s most well-loved composers employed by a Baroque court such as, Bach, Händel, Lully, and Corelli. Qatar Philharmonic’s Doha Baroque Ensemble, oboist German Diaz Blanco, bassoonist Daniel Hrinda, and the Qatar Concert Choir will perform alongside conductor/harpsichordist Christoph Teichner for this enchanting event.
