Shaza Mohamed Oweda was born 1985 in Cairo. She belongs to a musicial family, as she is the daughter of the old Egyptian composer, Abd El Azim Oweda. Shaza joined the Cairo Concervatoire at the age of eight. Among her teachers were Professor Mona Barana, Professor Marles Jonahes Khan and Professor Hassan Sharara. Ms. Oweda graduated in 2005/2006 With Honours First Level and With Distinction. She played as a soloist with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and as a soloist and member with the Cairo Concervatoire Symphony Orchestra and the Cairo Youth Chamber Orchestra. Shaza played also as a member of the Philaharmonic Chamber Orchestra from 2002 till 2008, Cairo Opera Orchestra and Bibliotheca Alexandria Chamber Orchestra. She also was a member of the Cairo Concervatoire Symphony Orchestra in the Beethoven Festival in Germany in 2007. Ms. Oweda also had manifold activity in performing solo recitals in Cairo and Alexandria.
